Kent County Indivisible is 100% volunteer run and would love to have you work along side us in our mission to defend democracy. If you're interested in helping to shape the work that KCI is doing, please let us know!

How To Get Involved

A great first step to getting involved with KCI is to make sure you're subscribed to our mailing list, which you can do by filling out the form below. We also hold regular Community Meetings about once a month, which are a great opportunity to connect with others in the community and hear about the work KCI is doing.

If you're interested in finding out how you can be more involved and help shape the work that KCI is doing, fill out the form below and check the box indicating you'd like to hear more about volunteering.

We want to build a community where people can use their talents, time and energy to help us plan and organize the work we’re doing, as well as help with a wide variety of day-to-day things that help keep KCI moving and growing. After you sign up, you'll have someone from KCI reach out to you via email to follow up and start a conversation on how you can get more involved.

Some examples of what our volunteers tackle:

• Researching and writing articles for our website
• Managing our social media presence
• Help managing our online platform
• Coming up with ideas how we can accomplish our Campaigns, and then working with others to turn those ideas into action
• Writing, reviewing, editing and providing feedback on emails, posts and articles
• Recruiting volunteers, and then helping to get them onboard when they sign up
• Organizing events: securing locations, organizing volunteer signups, coordination, etc
• Anything else you want to do that could be helpful!
